Here’s a fun photo we’re proud to share because it features our good bat-buddy, Desmond! This cool kid is crazy for Batman and he wanted to show us this fun new hat he got for Christmas. It’s a Fedora with a Bat-Symbol Logo on the side. Oh man, that is so AWESOME!!
Thanks Desmond, now I’m totally jealous, ha! But, seriously, your new hat is extremely cool! ( Yes, I’m still jealous! )

Really, when an image of a cosplayer requires a tag noting that it is not a screenshot, you know they’ve managed to do something amazing. French cosplayer Kevin is cosplaying as Isaac Clarke while his friend L a Charvin is donning her Ellie Langford costume. They both look so real in some of these pictures that you’d swear you were looking at an in-game shot from Dead Space. Kevin’s costume has even been recognized by the people who created the game over at EA who’ve had him do some promotional work. It’s just that good.
See more shots after the break…
Finally—something to wear with these. That should pretty much complete the outfit, though you could toss in one of these cat capes. So you’ll kind of be like a Grumpy Cat superhero stripper.

The second Red Band trailer for Tommy Wirkola‘s Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters has hit the Internet and the movie continues to look like a whole lot of fun. You might not recognize Wirkola at first glance, but he’s was the writer and director of Dead Snow, the Nazi Zombie Ski weekend movie.
Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters hits theater screens on January 25th, starring Jeremy Renner, Gemma Arterton, Famke Janssen, Peter Stormare, Derek Mears and Thomas Mann. The movie’s story takes place 15 years after the brother and sister survive their first encounter with a witch at the gingerbread house. That event catapults the two to become specialized witch bounty hunters.
The CW’s superhero drama Arrow has been making merry sport mining the DC Universe for potential enemies and allies for its young Emerald Archer. Next villain up for bids is Firefly, the pyromaniac with wings who typically plagues Batman, will soon be stopping by Starling City to get something started – like a fire.
In this episode, which is entitled “Burned,” Firefly is recast as a former firefighter who was severely burned on the job and apparently he decides to take out his rage on the issue by setting a few fires of his own. Firefly will be played by Andrew Dunbar, who you’ll recognize from other Vancouver-area shot sci-fi series like Battlestar Galactica and Stargate Universe.
Below is a photo gallery from the episode released by The CW. “Burned” will serve as Arrow’s midseason premiere when the show returns on January 16 at 8 pm ET/PT .
