GOW Judgement to have free-for-all multiplayer
Gears of War: Judgement’s multiplayer will include free-for-all multiplayer.
This is according to Official Xbox Magazine who reckon they have the inside scoop.
If this is true, I’m pleased as I generally haven’t played to much Gears multiplayer but a Lone Wolf type mode would def interest me!

Halo 4 to have dedicated Grifball Mode
It’s hard to believe that Grifball has endured so well from it’s early days of forge in Halo 3 to become a full on entity in its own right. 343 Industries have announced at PAX that Grifball will have a dedicated Grifball mode.
343, you’re doing it right.
In other Pax news, multiplayer map Exile was revealed by way of a bit of Capture the Flag game play.

Halo 4 has a teaser for the Terminals that can be found in the game. If you don’t know, the Terminals are points within the game that give an insight in the greater mechanics of the Halo universe. Halo 3 has them which revealed the super AI battles featuring Mendicant Bias and Halo: Reach featured datasets which revealed The Authority.
Titled “Jul ‘Mdama,” the teaser lets you know you why the Covenant is heading towards the planet Requiem on which Halo 4 is largely set.

The recent reveal of the Halo 4 terminals might have a few people asking who is Jul ‘Mdama?
Very briefly Jul M’Dama is a sangheili shipmaster who commands a covenant fleet that will appear to have a place in the story of Halo 4. His back story can be found here.
The character has been covered in the recent Halo novels, The Thursday War and Halo: Grasslands.
His reveal in the Terminal highlights how he appears to have lead the Covenant to the planet Requiem in a grand quest to take the planet’s ‘treasures’.
New RETRO BARBIE & KEN DOLLS as 1966 TV Series Catwoman and Batman
As reported here at the Bat-Blog awhile back, the Mattel Toy Company has plans to release a special set of RETRO BARBIE AND KEN DOLLS dressed as Catwoman (Julie Newmar) and Batman (Adam West) from the 1966 TV Series. Now, when they say “retro” what they mean is that the dolls look like the vintage-style that was made back in the 1960′s. Here is a photo of the dolls that will be released later this year. We don’t have an exact release date right now but stay tuned to the Bat-Blog and as soon as we know, you will know.

Chip Kidd and Dave Taylor’s BATMAN: DEATH BY DESIGN To Be Published in Spain as “Arquitectura Mortal”
OK, This is pretty awesome bat-news! Over at the CHIPKIDD.COM website we just got the word that a book publishing company in Barcelona, Spain called “Ecc Ediciones” will be publishing Chip Kidd and Dave Taylor’s BATMAN: DEATH BY DESIGN (DC Comics) into a foreign language edition! The new title will be called, “Batman: Arquitectura Mortal”. They have even created a really nice Book Trailer Video which you can see down below. We’re not really sure of an exact release date but it is due in 2013 and I have seen some foreign reviews already.

Neil deGrasse Tyson Calculates How Much Thor’s Hammer Mjolnir Weighs
As one of the foremost experts on the physics of the universe, Neil deGrasse Tyson is one big nerd and he really flexes his nerd muscle through his Twitter account.
Earlier in the week, Neil deGrasse must have been watching the Avengers, or Thor, because of a special revelation he posted online that has had many of us pondering for quite some time. Using scientific methods, which most of us would have had an ice cream head ache over, and his knowledge of the building materials that went into the legendary weapon, Neil came up with a rough estimate of just how heavy Mjolnir is.
The astronomical science is one thing, so to simplify it for all us not-so-scientific people, he has graciously used elephants as a form of measurement. And thanks to some research from Blastr, we now know an average male African bush elephant weighs roughly 12,000 lbs. Random trivia fact for the day. You’re welcome. But how exactly did deGrasse figure all of this out without physically holding a hammer that technically doesn’t even exist?

‘Star Wars’ News – Kasdan, Kinberg and Oz Talk New Films
There’s been a lot of Star Wars news and rumors going around lately, particularly with regards to the subjects of future stand-alone projects. Though they wouldn’t reveal much about what they expect for the future, writers Lawrence Kasdan (Empire Strikes Back) and Simon Kinberg (X-Men: Days of Future Past) did chat a bit about their upcoming involvement with the franchise.
Kasdan had this to say when asked about Episode VII:
They’re going to be fun. J.J. (Abrams)’s a great director for the first sequel. Perfect. We’re very happy to have him. The writers I’ve been working with – Michael Arndt, who’s going to write the sequel, and Simon Kinberg, who has, like me, been sort of consulting – they’re great. I’ve never really collaborated a lot, and I’ve never been a room with a bunch of writers thinking, “Well, what should this thing be?” It’s fun. It’s really fun. And J.J.’s a writer. Yeah, lovely guy. I’d met him but didn’t know him. But now I’m totally enamored by him. He’s really funny and so enthusiastic.
And Kinberg talked about what to expect in the future. Or rather he elected to not talk about it:
This is what I would say: as a fan, I wouldn’t want to know too much. I know that’s impossible because it’s not the ’70s or ’80s anymore, but part of what was so exciting about A New Hope for me was I was entering into a universe I didn’t know. Even in Empire, I was surprised by a twist I never would have seen coming. But it’s different nowadays. I understand the excitement, and I’m happy that people are interested, obviously. But I’d rather people have something left to discover when they go in.
And with the rumors of a Yoda-centered spin-off flying around, the next person whose voice needed to be heard was the original voice of Yoda himself, the almighty Frank Oz. He had the following to say with regards to the original puppet Yoda versus the new and improved CGI Yoda:
He’s in my heart. I know Yoda very deeply…The future of Yoda is likely in CGI, as he was rendered in “Attack of the Clones” and “Revenge of the Sith.” I think it depends on the story, but I think at this point you can’t go back to the puppet. The reason George [Lucas] did the CGI, which I supported, was that he wanted to tell a story that would have been hampered by the physical limitations of the puppet.
So yeah, not much new here folks. Rest assured we will get back to you when it finally comes time for someone to accidently leak something crucial about the films. And we’ll report on every rumor as well, but that’s why you love us, right?

After wandering from place to place for a time, Haku was found by Zabuza who recognized his talents and agreed to take him in as a tool. As a result, Haku becomes unquestioningly protective and loyal to Zabuza, as he found a purpose in life by being useful to his master. He ultimately gives his life in his mission, becoming a human shield to protect Zabuza from Hatake Kakashi’s Lightning Blade.

Guilty Gear X: Dizzy 02
After escaping from her abusive captors, Dizzy came under the protection of Testament, a Gear who had served under the Command Gear Justice. Testament fought off most of the bounty hunters who were after Dizzy, and if any managed to overcome him, they were quickly beaten back by the immense power of Dizzy herself. She was eventually defeated by the bounty hunter known as Sol Badguy, but he decided to spare her life, and the bounty fell to Kuradoberi Jam instead.

A young girl who was found amidst the burning fields of Ikaruga, Noel became the adopted daughter of the Vermillion family. It was because of her outstanding combat activity that she became a high-ranking member of the NOL using the Nox Nyctores revolver Arcus Diabolus: Bolverk. These guns do not fire actual bullets, but rather, inflicts damage by creating distortions in dimensional space.

This was taken by Kira Hokuten during the Philippine Toy Convention 2012. I know Alodia Gosiengfiao is cosplaying Fate/Extra’s Saber, but I’m not sure who Sarah Geronimo is cosplaying as. It’s funny that from this angle, they look like sisters! I thought this was a photo of Alodia and Ashley at first until I read the description on Facebook.

Well, she looks like Flandre Scarlet from Touhou Project to me, but the hair color’s definitely wrong. And I know Flandre has a red vest paired with her red skirt, not a full dress like this one.

When Megumi escaped from Takeda’s mansion, she ended up in a gambling house where Sanosuke and Kenshin were playing dice. She then asked for their help, and later accompanies them back to the Kamiya dojo. Kaoru was furious that Kenshin brought a female stranger to her home, and Megumi decided to play the flirt, making several advances to Kenshin.

After Shampoo learned about Ranma’s curse, she could not kill or marry him and decided to return home, heartbroken. As punishment for her failure, her great-grandmother Cologne brought her to Jusenkyo for retraining. During her lessons, her lack of concentration made her fall into the “Spring of Drowned Cat”. She was then cursed to turn into a cat whenever she’s doused with cold water. Unfortunately, cats are the one thing Ranma fears most, and Shampoo blames him for this status.

While Remilia is usually self-centered and somewhat bratty, it is possible to become her friend, but most humans and youkai alike prefer to stay away her. Her name, appearance, house, and clothing all indicate she is European in origin and for some unknown reason, emigrated to Japan many years ago. Remilia claims to be a descendant of the world’s most notorious vampire, Count Vlad epe Dracul, but this is nothing more than a lie.
