Darth Vader Would Wear a Skirt Like This If The Other Sith Lords Wouldn’t Make Fun of Him

You want to dress like one of the ultimate Star Wars villains, but you don’t want to don a helmet or chest plate. What’s a girl to do? Easy, wear a Darth Vader inspired skirt.

This design by Nerd Alert Creations incorporates Vader’s iconic look into a simple, made to order skirt. Wear it out with just a black tank or t-shirt or pair it with a black corset and a lightsaber hilt for a fun costume.

Turnaround time is about three weeks. Check out another angle after the break.

You Can Never Go Wrong With a Hello Kitty Skirt

Hello Kitty fashion has really changed over the years. The Sanrio character is still adorable, but now she’s also featured on chic designs. This “Mew Complete Me” skirt mixes the two and has just the right amount of playfulness.

The World’s First Haute Couture Electronic Twitter Dress [Video]

Many of us have developed quite the addiction to Twitter. Life moves along at 140 characters, and we’ve adapted to the constant influx of short bursts of news from those we follow. However, I don’t know if anyone could have predicted that live feeds would start showing up on our apparel.

We’re not at the point of mass production yet, but there is a haute couture dress that’s embedded with LEDs and displays tweets from fans. You can essentially send tweets to the dress, and it scrolls the words across the front. It was designed by CuteCircuit and worn by Nicole Scherzinger, and I bet we’ll see different takes on this dress in the year ahead.

See more photos and a video of this inventive design after the break.
