By now, most of you probably know that there’s a new Godzilla movie coming, courtesy of Legendary Pictures. But every good monster film needs at least a few humans in it, if only to give the big rubber baddy something to stomp on. So casting has begun and two faces are being pulled from the acting masses. It looks like Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) and Elizabeth Olson (Martha Marcy May Marlene) are currently in talks to take on roles in the flick.
If brought on board, they would potentially be joining up with Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Kick-Ass), who also happens to be in talks, for the lead role in fact. Unfortunately, nothing will be set in stone until the script, being rewritten by Frank Darabont (The Walking Dead) is officially ready to go.
Assuming all things go as planned, they hope to begin shooting next month and have the whole thing together for a planned release on May 16th, 2014.
Thanks to ComicBookMovie for the heads-up.
