Fushigi Yuugi: Nuriko
First appearing to be “Korin” from Hotohori’s harem, Nuriko is one of the seven Suzaku warriors and he is, in fact, a man. Korin was the name of his younger sister who died at a young age, and Nuriko began dressing like her to keep her memory alive. He later comes to terms with the fact that his cross-dressing resulted from the unyielding pain of the loss of his sister, and that he had been trying to live his life the way Korin would have, not as he would have.

Uta no Prince-sama: Nanami Haruka 02
Despite having dizzy spells from the city’s “noise”, Nanami Haruka enrolled in the prestigious Saotome Academy in the hopes of becoming a composer for her idol, Hayato. Prior to her enrollment, she had no experience in reading sheet music, but she is able to play the piano very well as taught by her grandmother. Haruka proves to be a very talented as the series progresses, even learning how to read sheet music after studying for only one day.

A young girl who was found amidst the burning fields of Ikaruga, Noel became the adopted daughter of the Vermillion family. It might be a little early for our weekly Unknown Feature, but this is a crossover anyway and I thought this photo needed to be featured as soon as possible.
This was taken by Kira Hokuten during the Philippine Toy Convention 2012. I know Alodia Gosiengfiao is cosplaying Fate/Extra’s Saber, but I’m not sure who Sarah Geronimo is cosplaying as. It’s funny that from this angle, they look like sisters! I thought this was a photo of Alodia and Ashley at first until I read the description on Facebook.

When Kasumi was 17, her uncle, the rogue ninja Raidou returned to their village in order to obtain a ninpo spell used by the clan’s leaders known as the “Torn Sky Blast” technique. After managing to defeat Ayane, Raidou eventually mimicked the technique from Hayate, and rendered him both comatose and paraplegic before escaping. Kasumi was unfortunately not present during the attack and since no one told her about what had transpired between Hayate and Raidou, she did not know who attacked her brother until much later in the game.

When junior high school student Mashiro Moritaka forgot his notebook in class, fellow classmate Takagi Akita saw Mashiro’s drawings in it and instantly asked him to become the manga artist to his stories. However, Mashiro declined his offer as his late uncle, a manga artist, died from overwork.
Takagi then incited Mashiro to meet with Azuki Miho, Mashiro’s crush, and told her that they planned to become manga artists. Azuki revealed that she wanted to become a voice actress and thus Mashiro proposed to her that they should both marry when Azuki became a voice actress for the anime adaptation of their manga.
Mashiro and Takagi then started creating their manga under the pen name Ashirogi Muto, in hopes of getting serialized in Weekly Shounen Jump.

Kanu Unchou has always believed that it is her destiny to die while protecting their leader, Ryuubi Gentoku. In line with this, however, many characters believe that it is Ryomou Shimei who will one day kill her. Unchou was later forced to side with Sousou Motoku and attack Nanyo Gakuen in order to protect Ryubi from Kyosho Gakuen’s fighters.
I think this may be Akira Itsuki again as Unchou only with a different school uniform. She must really like this character since she’s already cosplayed her two years ago. Thanks again to Denise for sending this in!
