Extended Preview for ‘The Walking Dead’ Will Get Your Undead Juices Flowing

The October 13th premiere on AMC of the fourth season of Robert Kirkman‘s The Walking Dead is fast approaching. Until now we’ve only gotten a look at some production stills and some very short clips. That is, until today. Now we’ve got an extended look at what’s in store for our ragged band of survivors as they try to stay alive in the prison.

Wow, I don’t know about you, but that just re-energized my zombie apocalypse batteries. With so many zombie this and zombie that out there even this NerdBastard Zombie Aficionado was getting a little tired, everywhere I turned it was some new zombie in love or zombie video game, or I was a Teenage Zombie type thing banging on my door for attention. It was just about enough.

The third season had its high points with Merle’s story, as well as its low points . . . Andrea’s whole waffling on the Governor thing and her ultimate demise. I won’t mention the Governor escaping, only because I hope to see an even more gruesome end for him sometime in the future.

This fourth season looks like it will get back to some of the core concepts from the comic. The comic is about the people and how they survive the zombies, as well as their fellow survivors.
