Photo: Custom Batman Batmobile Made From 1958 Corvette!!
Here’s an extremely cool photo sent in by a Bat-Blog Reader named Bob. ( Click on the above picture for a larger, more detailed, version ). He recently bought this 1960’s Style Batmobile Car! He said it was made by some guy in the 60’s & is actually a 1958 Corvette body. It only has 8019 original miles because it’s mainly been stored for 30 years. Plus, the funny thing, is that the title to the car actually says “BATCAR”…that’s GREAT! ( Thank you Bob for sending the photo & sharing your wonderful story, I appreciate that. Oh yeah, and if I’m ever in your neck of the woods, then I want a ride in this thing, ha ha! )

Streets Fine Art and Photography Gallery in Beverly Hills, featuring the performer as captured by Bert Stern, John Engstead, and Bernard of Hollywood, among others. At the Paley Center event, Ms. Newmar will introduce a special screening of the Biography special, Julie Newmar: The Cat’s Meow, and be on hand for a sneak preview of select imagery from the exhibit in the Paley Center’s Bell Family Gallery. Gene’s Vintage Photo – The Original BATMAN TV Show 1966 Batmobile Car
Check out this amazing photo! It belongs to a guy in New Jersey named Gene. His story is, “Back in February of 1967, my dad took me and my younger brother Michael over to the Old Armory in West Orange, NJ, where they used to have great Hot Rods and Stock Car Shows. My Dad took this lone photo of us in front of one of the five original BATMAN TV 1966 Batmobiles!” WOW!!! Gene strongly believes the Custom Car he saw in 1967 was the #4 Batmobile ( the vehicle used for all the drag racing scenes ) because of the elaborate seat belt harnesses he and his brother recall seeing in the interior. Also, CHECK OUT the awesome life-size cardboard cutouts of Adam & Burt to the far right!!! This is a Classic Childhood Photograph! I wanna thank BatDave for bringing it to our attention & especially thank Gene for sharing his wonderful childhood memory… great stuff!

Here’s a photo I know that every single person is going to totally fall in love with. It’s way too cute, kinda funny, and completely beautiful. This is a photo from one of our Friends on Facebook who lives in Argentina. He and his Wife just gave birth to a Brand-New Bouncing Baby Boy. The cool thing, this kid is already a Huge Batman Fan!! In fact, He’s shown here with his new favorite toy, a Batman Action Figure! Awwwwwww. A Special Congratulations goes out to both Parents & their Families. Vintage 1970’s BATMAN AND BATGIRL COSTUME Family Photo
I recently became Friends with a cute girl in California named Cyndi who was kind enough to share this amazing Vintage BATMAN Family Photo. It’s a picture of her parents, Sharon and John, at a Halloween Party in the 1970’s!! They both went as Batman and Batgirl ( or, is that “Batwoman”? ha ha ). The costumes were homemade, which is the best, and Cyndi said she can still remember her Dad cutting-out the Bat-Logos for them out of felt.
One personal note I’d like to share is that, sadly, Cyndi reported that her Dad is no longer with us but, “He would really enjoy the fact that people would see this picture and it would bring them some happiness”. That’s very cool. So this post if for him. I already know that people will love it because it’s fun and wacky! ( Thanks Cyndi for sharing this cool pic!! )
