New BATMAN STATUES To Look Out For Next Year, 2010!
I hate doing posts early where you show items that are not coming out for a long time but I decided, “What the heck, let’s show ’em anyway because they’re cool!”. So, here are a few Batman Statues you’ll be able to find early in 2010. The 1st one is totally amazing! It’s a 1/2 Scale-Size Art Bust of TWO-FACE. It looks like one of those where the clothing is actual fabric & everything else is ceramic. He looks pretty creepy if ya ask me. The next one is a retro-30’s style BATMAN ( Full Figure – DC Chronicles series ). It’s great because it’s just some vintage “Golden Age” goodness! Now, I saved the best one for last! This is BATGIRL from the “Women of the DC Universe” Series. She looks cool all perched-up on a building’s gargoyle. When it gets closer to the release time for these we’ll announce it here at the Bat-Blog, so stay tuned!
Brad’s Awesome BATMAN AND JOKER Statue Collection
I recently received some very nice photos from a fellow Batman Collector named Brad ( Be sure to click on them for larger, more detailed, pics ). He has a really great Batman Statue Collection. Now, there were a ton of photos so I’m just showing a few right now, and later I will post the rest. But I’m putting them in categories, so they make sense, so don’t worry. These pics focus mainly on the Batman: Black and White statues. Then, there’s a few other busts & random statues… all great stuff! I think it’s really neat to see a lot of the B&W figures all together. They always make an interesting display. My next post will focus on his Joker Collection so stay tuned for that. BATMAN ARKHAM CITY Life-Size Statue by Studio Oxmox
We recently did a post here at the BAT-BLOG.COM where we reported about the BATMAN ARKHAM CITY Video Game Launching Event in NYC. It was held at Toys-R-Us & had a few surprises. One of them was an extremely cool Life-Size Statue they had of Batman. It was very detailed & sort of hyper-realistic looking. Plus, it looked EXACTLY like the character in the Video Game, very very cool! Well later on, at Facebook, we were talking about it a little bit & a friend said he knew who made it.
The statue was created for the event by a company called STUDIO OXMOX. I researched their website & they make a HUGE amount of movie promo items & statues. Their work is really great! If I ever win the Lottery, I will probably call them up & buy everything they make( of course, right after I call the guy who makes 1966 Batmobile Replica Cars, ha ha! ). Wayne’s BATMAN BLACK AND WHITE STATUE Collection
We recently got an email where a Guy who lives in the UK named Wayne ( Not Bruce Wayne ) and he sent us some photos of his BATMAN BLACK AND WHITE STATUE Collection…AWESOME! He said he has every statue made since they began. If I remember right, there are 41 of them so far, maybe 42. I really like these and it’s great to see them all together. There’s such a nice variety. ( Hey Wayne – Thanks for sharing your fun pics! ).
