New Trailer for ‘Gravity’ – Lots of Shit Flying Through Space
The latest project from Alfonso Cuaron (Children of Men, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) is a little space flick known as Gravity. If the words of James Cameron are to be believed, it’s the best space movie ever. Starring George Clooney and Sandra Bullock, it’s just a couple of months before we get chance to see it and judge it for ourselves. Until then, here’s the latest trailer:
At first glance it looks like a typical generic disaster flick to me, albeit with some high-end FX. And Cameron’s words don’t really hold any water with me in light of his Avatar obsession. Luckily, Cuaron has done some great work in the past, so there’s a chance that this flick is more than just the modern day equivalent of Armageddon.
I guess that I, and others like me, will have to wait until October 4th to see if Gravity lives up to the hype it’s getting.
