THE JOKER GOON LEATHER JACKET By Universal Designs
There’s a new fashion clothing company out there now called UNIVERSAL DESIGNS & one of their new products is gonna be this Leather Jacket modeled after the uniform worn by “Bob The Goon” in the 1989 Batman film. Except, the twist is, the graphics are the modern day “Heath Ledger Joker” from The Dark Night movie & not the comic book version that was used in the older movie. But, I guess it’s sort of an homage…that’s cool!
THE DARK KNIGHT Batman Teddy Bear Costume At Build-A-Bear Stores
Here’s a new Batman product that’s been out a little while that some of you might wanna get. It’s a Batman Costume Clothing Set for a Teddy Bear! Yeah, you read that right…Teddy Bear Clothes! Actually, it’s kinda cool & it’s the bat-suit version from the Dark Knight movie. They sell these at the Build-a-Bear stores ( You can find at your local Shopping Mall ). We did a post about this along time ago when they 1st came out & they’re still selling them…WOW! I guess they must be selling pretty good if they’re keeping them around, ha ha! I decided to do a re-post on this because a new Bat-Blog Reader, named Paul, sent these really GREAT PICS & they’re way better than the ones I had before. Thank you Paul, I appreciate that!

Garrey’s Awesome BATMAN COMIC BOOK, TOY, & MEMORABILIA Collection!
The Bat-Blog recently received a whole bunch of really great photos from a Bat-Fan named Garrey. This is his room where he displays some of his Batman Collection. He’s got a lot of Vintage Comic Books, New Graphic Novels, DVD Movies, Action Figures, Collectible Toys, Movie Posters, etc… I couldn’t post ALL the photos he sent so I just condensed them down to a few of the best ones. He really has a lot of neat Batman items! Now, you know I totally love all this kinda stuff ( especially the toys ) but I gotta say that the BAT’S MOTEL sign is really funny! If I remember right, he said he got it at BIG LOTS during the Halloween Season. It’s not really a “Batman item” but it does totally fit into the collection. Plus, I like the humor. I’m feeling pretty tired so I thought I would just post a few very funny Batman-related Comic Strips & Humor Photos. He did one of Batman from the modern-day comic book & the rest look like they are toys inspired by The Dark Knight movie. There’s a “Bank Robber Joker with Goon-Mask”, a “Bruce Wayne” figure with the early bat-suit, & a few different Jokers! Batman’s TUMBLER BATMOBILE CAR From the Dark Knight Movie Will Be in England Very Soon!

Warner Bros and DC Comics are pleased to announce that they will be bringing the Tumbler Batmobile Car from Batman Begins and The Dark Knight movies to the London Film and Comic Con at Earls Court 2 in England on July 17th and 18th, 2010. THE DARK KNIGHT Spotted in West Orange, New Jersey
In recent BATMAN NEWS, Essex County of New Jersey “employs” The Dark Knight to teach local kids about the dangers of drugs and crime. “Batman” was last seen marching in the West Orange St. Patrick’s Day Parade this past Sunday, showing support for a Junior Police Cadet Program in Newark. Very cool!

Here’s a very well-made video featuring our friend Yuji Ueda. He’s a big Batman Toy Collector & his main focus is the Japanese items from the 1960’s. In fact, the video is sort of a tour of famous Vintage Toy Shops in Japan ( Yes, that would be my dream vacation, ha! ). NEW BAT BOOK – Christopher Nolan’s Batman – The Art and Making of the Dark Knight Trilogy
OK, Cool! Here’s some news I came across the other day that Christopher Nolan Fans are gonna love. Around July 28th, 2012, Abrams will be releasing a brand-new BATMAN MOVIE History Book titled, “Christopher Nolan’s Batman: The Art and Making of the Dark Knight Trilogy”. It will be written by Jody Duncan Jesser, Janine Pourroy, and designed by Chip Kidd. It’s also gonna be a 304 page Hardback!
